The programme is designed to recruit students who are seeking a career in the fields of accounting, whether in the context of a professional office, industrial or service environments or the finance industry. The rationale of the programme is to provide students with an employability skills and academically challenging programme of study in the fields of accounting/ accounting and finance. The programme combines and applies several supporting subject fields including economics, law, information technology and quantitative techniques pertinent to the accounting and finance agenda. Subject specific modules are supported by skills modules. The programme has been devised in accordance with the University’s graduate attributes of programmes of study as set out in UPR TL03
Aims:
- Provide students with relevant employability and academic skills in a programme which also secures a level of professional exemptions from leading UK accounting institutes.
- Provide a foundation for further professional or postgraduate study.
- Allow students to develop their intellectual, creative and analytical abilities to appraise problems and to offer solutions.
- Develop in students the interpersonal, communication and specialist skills needed for a career in accounting and finance fields.
- Enable students to reflect critically on their condition, both as private individuals and as members of society.

BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance: Fee Structure
- 3 Years
- AED 40,000 – Per Year
- Tailored scholarships are available for all programmes
Deadline for paying tuition fees for returning students
- For returning students paying semester A, the deadline to pay the first installment is the 31st of August and 31st of December for the second installment.
- Paying after the above-mentioned deadlines will incur a 5% penalty on the remaining unsettled fees.
- In case of any unsettled fees, all enrollment certificates and requested documents by the debtor will be put on hold until all payments are settled.
- After 3 weeks from the payment deadline, if the fees are still unsettled, the debtor will be withdrawn from the University.
- Any withdrawals / suspensions requested after 31st of August of each year, refund policy shall apply strictly.
- Maximum period of voluntary suspension should not exceed one academic year.
Miscellaneous Fees
- Non-academic fees: 2,200 AED / 500 GBP
- Application fees: 2,000 AED
- Deposit fees (To be deducted from tuition fees): 5,000 AED /1100 GBP

Terms and Conditions
- Tuition fees can be paid over two instalments.
- Tuitions fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 15%.
- Students who received forced suspension decision as a result of Academic misconduct or Non-Academic misconduct will NOT be exempted from paying their financial dues for the whole academic year regardless of the period of the forced suspension.
